Coripharma today announced that Lilja Valdimarsdottir has been appointed Director Commercial Operations, responsible for the Business Development, Contract Manufacturing, and Customer Services of Coripharma.
Coripharma now offers licenses to 16 generic pharmaceutical products, in different stages of development, with the first product launch scheduled this summer. In the coming years, Coripharma aims to further strengthen its product portfolio by finalizing several new developments per year.
Lilja joined Coripharma as Associate Director of Business Development in August 2020, focusing on out-licensing activities for Coripharma’s own developed products. She has 20 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Before Coripharma, she was Business Development Manager at Medis, where she worked from 2006 to 2020. From 2001-2006, she worked in the Marketing Department of Delta/Actavis. Lilja has an MBA from the University of Reykjavík and a Master´s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Iceland.
