Bio Equivalence studies for Ruxolitinib have passed successfully and we believe Coripharma is among the front runners in developing the generic product. The dossier is set to be completed in Q1 2024, pending stability studies.

Ludvik Karl Tomasson takes on the role of CFO from Agust Helgi Leosson, who recently decided to take on a different role within the company’s finance department.

Ludvik has decades of experience in international finance and financial reporting in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies; most recently with Hansa Biopharma AB in Sweden and previously with TFS International AB, Alvogen, Inc and DeCODE Genetics.

Ludvik is a certified CPA and holds an Executive MBA degree from Columbia Business School, New York, and London Business School.

Stefan Thor Arnarsson has been appointed Director of a newly implemented Supply Chain division.

Stefan joined Coripharma in 2021 as a Business Development Manager. Stefan has 16 years of experience in supply chain management in the pharmaceutical industry. For the majority of that time Stefan worked for Medis as a Director in the supply chain, as well as being the deputy to the VP of Supply Chain Operations. Stefan holds a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration and Supply Chain Management from the University of Reykjavik.

Two new executives, Ludvik Karl Tomasson and Stefan Thor Arnarsson, have taken a seat in Coripharma‘s Executive Management Team. Ludvik has been appointed to the position of CFO and Stefan Thor has been appointed to a newly formed role as Director of Supply Chain Operations.

Changes in Coripharma‘s Executive Management Team

The successful pivotal study of Macitentan marks a significant milestone in the product development. 

The Macitentan development is based on the reference product Opsumit® and is indicated for treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Our efforts in R&D and across the company, continues to support us on our journey to manufacture high quality products and provide excellent service to our customers.

Macitentan film-coated tablets have passed the pivotal bioequivalence study and the Coripharma dossier is expected to be available in Q2 next year.

Margret has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical Industry having worked as the Quality Manager of Florealis and prior to that being a Qualified Person at Actavis.

Margret holds a PhD in Medical Life Science from the University of Iceland as well as a master’s degree in pharmacology.
