Bjarni was the first CEO of Coripharma and he has extensive international managerial experience. Formerly CEO of Hibernia Networks, an international fibre optic company, he grew the business from a start-up until its divestment to a NYSE-listed company in 2017.

Bjarni also serves on the boards of Matorka ehf. and Mila hf., as well as the Nasdaq-listed Síminn hf.
