As Coripharma continues its journey of growth and innovation, we are delighted to announce the addition of Unnur Vilhjálmsdóttir as the company´s Senior Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer

Unnur brings extensive experience to this role, having previously worked at Controlant, where she provided legal counsel on governance, corporate matters and compliance, as well as overseeing commercial agreements. Before joining Controlant, Unnur served as Head of Legal at Omnio Group Limited, a UK-based financial technology company, where she advised on governance, disputes, and legal matters across the organization. Unnur also has a strong background from her time at Valitor, where she was responsible for  governance and various legal matters for the company and its subsidiaries in the UK and Denmark. As Valitor’s corporate secretary for the group’s board and sub-committees, she provided legal support to the board, CEO, and senior management.

Lisdexamphetamine is based on the reference product Elvanse®, commonly prescribed for managing attention deficit disorder (ADHD).

Margret has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical Industry having worked as the Quality Manager of Florealis and prior to that being a Qualified Person at Actavis.

Margret holds a PhD in Medical Life Science from the University of Iceland as well as a master’s degree in pharmacology.
